Dear Pilot,

We are very happy to welcome you to the year 2022 EUROTOUR F5J Masters edition this will take place in Escalona del Prado in May 14th 1nd 15th.

We are already working hard to bring for you an even better edition of our famous F5J Masters.

And the best way you can help us to prepare it is you make a pre-inscription in our web page.

We are happy to announce that pre-inscriptions are already open.

 

This year, a part of moving date to May, we have three new things:

1- We have agreed with its organizers, the inclusion of this tournament in the Iberian Trophy 2022, along with the Open Pikuinhas F5J. So our competition apart from EUROTOUR, will count as NATIONAL OPEN and for this IBERIAN TROPHY.

2.-There will not be Fly-off. Instead, we will try fly to more rounds in the Sunday morning. In our contest where only 3 groups will be done and, we hope, we will be flying 12 rounds, we believe this form of competition will bring more interest while making sure the best pilot is the winner in the competition.

3– In our constant strive for improvement, in this edition we want to be at the forefront of the formula taking the reins of the latest technological advances that have recently appeared in our beloved specialty and therefore in collaboration with our sponsor GliderKeeper we are going to celebrate: the first FAI competition with height measurement and automated timing!

This spectacular novelty will allow us to run a smooth and uninterrupted competition that will allow us to concentrate on participation with almost instantaneous results and in which we will be able to leave the human error factor behind.

To achieve this ambitious goal, our sponsor GliderKeeper will provide us with all the necessary infrastructure, support and equipment.

But the novelties are not only on the technical side; if you bring your own GliderKeeper device, the cost of your registration will be discounted and will therefore be lower. (See below).

But what happens if I don’t have a GliderKeeper? No problem, the organisation will provide you with a device and will help you to set it up and configure it. A deposit must be left for this purpose, which will be returned at the end of the competition when the device is returned.

Those pilots who use a non-automatic timing altimeter will have a dedicated timekeeper for them but the cost of their registration will not be subsidised.

With all above we are still chasing our compromise to have the contest with more flights and fun of the area with a total of 12 (twelve) competition flights per person.

Escalona del Prado provides us the most open and wide flying camp we can find in Spain enabled for F5J. You could start training flights on the Friday afternoon. It’s a nice experience.

We want specially thank Municipality of Escalona del Prado and their inhabitants all the help they are providing us to count with the Best Time Keepers. They are young enthusiasts that give us generously part or their free time to make possible this great event!

The contest agenda will be:

  • Accreditations:  Friday 14th from 16:00 till 18:00 and Saturday from  9:00 till 10:00
  • Flights: Saturday from 11:00 till 17:00 (8)
  • Flights Sunday from 9:30 till 13:00 (4)
  • Awards Ceremony 14:00

 

Standard Inscription fee:  85€.

Bonus primed inscription fee (in case automated timekeeping is used): 35€.

Refundable deposit for lending a GliderKeeper gear: 75€

We will be publishing both via bulletins and in our web the details relevant for you to get the best experience in this contest.

By the moment you have to make your reservations in the hotels of the area or just plan for a Camping in the site and make your pre inscription in our web page. By the moment payment is not yet possible since we are preparing a new bank account to receive it.

Remember you will not secure your participation until you have confirmed payment. However the first 60 pilots pre-registered will have priority from the rest.

LOCAL RULE F5J MASTERS 2022 (May 14th  and 15th), Escalona del Prado, Spain

1.- All models, up to 3 per competitor, must carry an AMRT with FAI approved Fw valid for SECOND class or FIRST class competitions, i.e. emergency restart will be allowed, scoring zero points for the flight in which emergency restart has been used.

2- Automated flight timekeeping from motor ON signal to first contact to terrain is allowed.

3- For automated timing equipment, the working time window check shall also be evaluated automatically.

4- The pilots agree to supply their Altimeter logs at once for verification upon Competition Director request.

5. – Although the data collection of the competition will be automated, the organization will provide timing judges who will be in charge of monitoring the correct compliance with the rules as well as auditing the flight records of all participants when deemed necessary.

Estimado piloto,

Estamos muy contentos de darles la bienvenida a la edición del EUROTOUR F5J Masters del año 2022 que tendrá lugar en Escalona del Prado los días 14 y 15 de mayo.

Ya estamos trabajando duro para traer para ti una edición aún mejor de nuestro famoso F5J Masters.

Y la mejor manera de ayudarnos a prepararla es haciendo una pre-inscripción en nuestra página web.

Nos complace anunciar que las pre inscripciones ya están abiertas.

Este año, además de trasladar la fecha a mayo, tenemos tres novedades:

1.- Hemos acordado con sus organizadores la inclusión de este torneo en el Trofeo Iberico 2022, junto con el Open Pikuinhas F5J. Asi que nuestra competición Aparte de EUROTOUR, computara como OPEN NACIONAL y para este TROFEO IBERICO.

2.- No habrá Fly-off. En su lugar, intentaremos volar más rondas en la mañana del domingo. En nuestro concurso en el que sólo se harán 3 grupos y, esperamos, que se vuelen 12 rondas, creemos que esta forma de competición aportará más interés a la vez que se asegura que el mejor piloto sea el ganador en la competición.

3.- En nuestro constante afán de mejora, en esta edición queremos estar a la vanguardia en la fórmula tomando las riendas de los últimos avances tecnológicos que han aparecido recientemente en nuestra querida especialidad y por ello en colaboración con nuestro patrocinador GliderKeeper vamos a celebrar: ¡el primer concurso FAI con medición de altura y cronometraje automatizado!

Esta espectacular novedad nos permitirá realizar una competición fluida y sin interrupciones que nos permita concentrarnos en la participación con resultados prácticamente instantáneos y en el que podremos dejar atrás el factor de error humano.

Para lograr este ambicioso objetivo, nuestro patrocinador GliderKeeper nos proporcionará toda la infraestructura, soporte y equipamiento necesario.

Pero las novedades no se quedan sólo en el lado técnico; Si traes tu propio dispositivo GliderKeeper, el coste de tu inscripción estará bonificado y será por tanto, menor. (Ver más abajo).

¿Pero qué ocurre si no dispongo de un GliderKeeper? Ningún problema, la organización pondrá un dispositivo a tu disposición y te ayudará en la configuración y puesta en marcha. Para ello se deberá dejar en depósito una fianza que se devolverá al finalizar el concurso al devolver el dispositivo.

Aquellos pilotos que utilicen un altímetro de cronometraje no automático tendrán un cronometrador dedicado para ellos pero el coste de su inscripción no será bonificado.

Con todo lo anterior seguimos persiguiendo nuestro compromiso de realizar el concurso con más vuelos y diversión de la zona con un total de 12 (doce) vuelos de competición por persona.

Escalona del Prado nos proporciona el campo de vuelo más abierto y amplio que podemos encontrar en España habilitado para F5J. Podrás empezar los vuelos de entrenamiento el viernes por la tarde. Es una bonita experiencia.

Queremos agradecer especialmente al Ayuntamiento de Escalona del Prado y a sus habitantes toda la ayuda que nos están prestando para contar con los Best Time Keepers. Son jóvenes entusiastas que nos regalan generosamente parte de su tiempo libre para hacer posible este gran evento.

El programa del concurso será:

  • Acreditaciones: Viernes 14 de 16:00 a 18:00 y sábado de 9:00 a 10:00
  • Vuelos: Sábado de 11:00 a 17:00 (8)
  • Vuelos: Domingo de 9:30 a 13:00 (4)
  • Ceremonia de entrega de premios 14:00

 

Tasa de inscripción estándar: 85€.

Tasa de inscripción bonificada (en caso de que se utilice el cronometraje automático): 35€.

Depósito reembolsable por el préstamo de un equipo GliderKeeper: 75€.

Iremos publicando tanto a través de boletines como en nuestra web los detalles pertinentes para que tengas la mejor experiencia en este concurso.

Por el momento tienes que hacer tus reservas en los hoteles de la zona o simplemente planificar un Camping en el sitio y hacer tu preinscripción en nuestra página web. Por el momento no es posible el pago ya que estamos preparando una nueva cuenta bancaria para recibirlo.

Recuerda que no asegurarás tu participación hasta que no hayas confirmado el pago. No obstante los primeros 60 pilotos preinscritos tendrán prioridad sobre el resto.

REGLA LOCAL F5J MASTERS 2022 (14 y 15 de mayo), Escalona del Prado, España

1.- Todos los modelos, hasta 3 por participante, deberán portar un AMRT con Fw homologado FAI, válido para competiciones de SEGUNDA clase o de PRIMERA clase, esto es: se permitirá re-arranque de emergencia, puntuando cero puntos el vuelo en el que arranque de emergencia haya sido utilizado.

2.- Se permite el cronometraje automatizado del tiempo de vuelo desde la señal de encendido del motor hasta el primer contacto con el terreno.

3.- En el caso de los equipos de cronometraje automatizados, la comprobación de la ventana de tiempo de trabajo también se evaluará automáticamente.

4.- Los pilotos se comprometen a suministrar sus registros de altímetro de inmediato para su verificación a petición de los directores de la competición.

5.- Aunque la toma de datos del concurso estará automatizado, la organización proveerá de jueces cronometradores que estarán al cargo de vigilar el correcto cumplimiento de la normativa así como auditar los registros de vuelo de todos los participantes cuando se considere necesario.
